INSTAGRAM

Enero es, sin duda, el mes que menos me gusta del año. Treinta y un días retenido entre mi habitación y la sala de la biblioteca, un calvario que para mí, termina en una semana, el próximo día 7 de febrero tengo el último examen cuatrimestral.

Estas últimas semanas he tenido el blog desatendido, pero ya sabéis perfectamente cual es la razón. Aún así, he tenido algo de tiempo para actualizar mi perfil en Instagram (@jjsreyes) con algunas fotografías que os dejo a continuación. ¡Os invito a seguirme en Instagram!

January is undoubtedly the worst month of the year. Thirty-one days trapped between my room and the library room, a hell that for me ends in a week, next  7th of February I have the latest quarterly exam. These past few weeks I have abandoned a little bit the blog, but you know perfectly what the reason is. Ayer estuve en el Parlamento de Andalucía con el look que podéis observar en las fotografías con la importante colaboración de la talentosa Annie G, fotógrafa del blog, y decidí hacer algo especial para este post y fue grabar un vídeo para saludar a todos los que me seguís a través de vuestras pantallas. A continuación, tenéis un saludito de mi parte.

Yesterday I was at the Parliament of Andalucía with the look you can see above in the pictures with the important collaboration of the talented Annie G, photographer of the blog, and I decided to do something special for this post and it was recording a video for you to greet everyone that follow me through their screens. Murallas de La Macarena. Sevilla.

Las emblemáticas Murallas de La Macarena fue el lugar que elegí este último martes para fotografiar el look que llevaba. Estas murallas servían de cercas militares para rodear el casco antiguo de Sevilla desde la época romana y a día de hoy, a pesar de todo un cambio de cultura y estética de la ciudad, siguen encajando a la perfección.

La falda tableada de cuero que llevo tiene muchísimo que ver con el estilo romano y además, le añadí los pantalones de cuero que le brindaron el rollito Givenchy que tanto me fascina.

The emblematic Murallas de La Macarena was the place I chose this last Tuesday to photograph the look I wore. These walls served as military fences to surround the old town of Seville in Roman times and today, despite that everything has changed, from culture to aesthetic, still fits perfectly.

The leather pleated skirt that I wore have a lot to do with the Roman style and also, I added the leather pants that gave  the Givenchy-esque look that I love.

Ayer estuve viendo mi perfil en Instagram (@jjsreyes) de arriba a abajo y sonreí muchísimo recordando grandes momentos de este último 2012 enmarcados en esta maravillosa red social. Mentirosas by Fernando Claro

Esta mañana me he encontrado con una grata sorpresa, las fotografías de la campaña que realice para la nueva colección de temporada de Mentirosas by Fernando Claro. El popular diseñador hispalense ha contado conmigo para ser la nueva imagen de la firma junto a mi gran amiga y diseñadora Lorena Subires. La colección, titulada Caribou, ha sido fotografiada por la fotógrafa habitual de El Príncipe Gitano, Annie G.


This morning I found a pleasant surprise, the pictures of the Mentirosas by Fernando Claro campaign for the new season collection, in which I'm featured as the model. The popular designer has chosen me to be the new face of the brand with my great friend and designer Lorena Subires. The new collection, entitled Caribou, has been photographed by the usual photographer of El Príncipe Gitano, Annie G.

Quería felicitaros el año nuevo, puesto que estos últimos días entre fiestas y resaca no he tenido apenas tiempo. El 13 es el número de la mala suerte por excelencia, pero es curioso como desde el primer minuto de 2013 tuve el presentimiento de que este año sería uno muy bueno, y ya sabéis que los gitanos somos veteranos videntes. Os deseo felicidad y salud, el resto, ya llegará.

I wanted to congratulate you for the new year, since the last few days within parties and hangover, I haven't had time. 

Number 13 is unlucky for excellence, but it's curious how from the first minute of 2013 I had a feeling that this year would be a great one, and you know that gypsies are veterans seers. I wish you happiness and health, the rest will come.
